this patek 2499/100 has a special dial with a "floating" signature and the font style is most probably unique to this watch. One can see the round "g" in geneve which is unique to this 2499/100 watch. This shows how most fo these were made by hand and the
enjoy seeing this unique tonneau shaped watch with round dial display, a 5020R. (In case you are wondering I am not the fortunate one who owns this watch.)
The watch dates to 1954 and the case dimensions are 36mm in diameter and 41mm lug-to-lug. This is a great vintage watch that still fits the modern wrist very well. The nickname for the watch is "Disco Volante," or flying saucer because of the thick steppe
